Empowering Informed Voting for the Church of Jesus Christ

The purpose of bible-voter is to provide a location where people who hold a biblical worldview, and understand the responsibility we have as bible believing followers of Jesus Christ, can find vetted candidates who share your beliefs and values, as well as people that may not completely align with our values, but are a recommended as the best alternative.

It’s very difficult today to identify where people who are running for public office truly stand on critical issues that God is clear on and declared to us through His Word. These are issues we have the responsibility to address as stewards over the government and nation God has blessed us with through the political process established by our constitution. We do this by electing people to public office who hold to biblical teachings, principles and values for governance consistent with the scriptures that we believe contribute to a flourishing people, culture and nation (Psalm 33:12).

There will certainly be situations where there are no candidates that can be recommended for your consideration for a variety of reasons. In this case we encourage you to consider the party platforms for the two primary political parties; Republican and Democrat. These are provided below. In the absence of clarity for a candidate, it will be helpful to look at what each party publishes that declares their principle, values and priorities, and discerning for yourself which of the two most align with a biblical worldview.
